Healthy Neighborhoods will enable healthier communities across the state. The Healthy Neighborhoods Committee engages multiple statewide stakeholders from statewide governments, local health systems, community organizations, insurers, and area employers, and is responsible for oversight and support of the Healthy Neighborhoods Program. Identifying and building on existing infrastructure in each region, Healthy Neighborhoods targets four statewide priority areas: healthy lifestyles; maternal and child health; mental health and addiction; and chronic disease prevention and management.
