Empowering every Delawarean to be active participants in their health care and better-educated consumers of health services
The Patient Consumer Advisory Committee involves stakeholders from health systems, faith organizations, and advocates that represent specific populations to ensure that patients are at the center of Delaware’s health care innovation initiatives. DCHI recognizes that patient engagement is at the heart of program success. Achieving the Triple Aim - Plus One - goals of better health, improved health care quality and patient experience, lower growth in per capita health care costs, and an enhanced provider experience will require individuals to engage meaningfully, as partners with their providers, in ensuring their own health and wellness.
